Doug & I visited Corkscrew Swamp in Naples, Florida on March 24th and as usual it was magical. You walk through over 2 miles of boardwalk that meanders through one of the most ethereal sights around-a bald cypress forest. Even when the boardwalk is filled with tourist people tend to move quietly. If you love nature (and birds of all sorts!) this location should be on your bucket list!

I was shooting with my new Tamron 180mm f/3.5 Macro lens when we came into an open area with honey bees working the flowers in the early morning sun. I thought this shot would lend itself to a texture….or two.
